A biotech company’s headquarters that features a mixed use ground level and 5 levels of offices and labs above. We took time to prioritize visibility from the arterial freeway directly adjacent to the site, user comfort by implementing WELL and LEED design standards, and planning for future growth and flexibility.
I worked on a team to develop this ~190,000 gsf project for an entitlements package. The project includes amenities for employees such as a fitness facility, restaurants, parking, and a conference center. The building envelope spouts photovoltaic spandrel panels imbedded in an electromagnetic glazing system— which is reminiscent of what brings us all together: DNA.
